That's right, sort of. As most of you know, I haven't lived in Jinan for a few years now, and I haven't been back for a few years either. I have other projects that I'm working on, and obviously can't put the time or dedication to this site as I would like. Therefore, I'm offering up this site to someone who can take it to the next level. Updates, news, better styles and such. I will NOT take just anyone, and I do have stipulations. I will maintain ownership of the domain, and will not sell to anyone just to simply park some adservice on here.

BEIJING -- One suspected case of A/H1N1 influenza was reported in eastern China's Shandong Province, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Tuesday evening.
The case, the second of its kind on the Chinese mainland so far, involved a man surnamed Lv who traveled from Canada and arrived in Beijing on Flight AC029 on May 8.
He had a fever on May 10 and took his temperature himself on May 11. It was 39 degree Celsius, accompanied by symptoms like sore throat and headache.
The man, who studied at a Canadian university, left Beijing by Train D41 on Monday evening and arrived in Jinan, the provincial capital of Shandong, three hours later, according to the ministry.
He reported to the Jinan Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on the train, which immediately sent him to the Jinan Infectious Disease Hospital for isolation and treatment.
The Jinan CDC and Shandong CDC conducted tests on the virus specimen of the patient respectively Tuesday, which showed that he was "suspected positive" of the A/H1N1 virus. To confirm whether the virus A/H1N1, the specimen will be sent to China CDC for further testing.
The person was isolated and received treatment in Jinan, the ministry said.
Articles :: Torch "Ruyi" for China's 11th National Games debuts in Jinan
Genova -- May 11, 2009
From http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2009-04/30/content_11287610.htm
BEIJING, April 30 -- A torch called "Ruyi" for China's 11th National Games made its debut on Tuesday in Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province.
It is built in the image of the traditional ruyi, an s-shaped ornamental object that is usually made of jade and is a symbol of good luck. The torch is 69 centimeters long and weighs 1 kilogram.
The design was inspired by the Beijing Olympic Torch "Lucky Cloud", which embodies the traditional Chinese values of luck and harmony.
At the unveiling ceremony, the torch maker -- Zhongshan Vantage Gas Appliance Stock Corporation -- signed a contract to sponsor torches for the National Games.
The torch relay will be held in the 17 competition cities in Shandong Province, the Organizing Committee of the National Games said.
The National Games of the People's Republic of China, also known as the All China Games, is China's top national-level sports event. It's usually held every four years.

800 primary school students from Beichuan County have arrived in Jinan in the east of China. These children will soon be back in class, more than 1000 kilometers away from home.
Students from the quake-hit Sichuan Province in southwest China arrive at Mingzhu Primary School in Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province, June 5, 2008.
They will be studying in the classrooms prepared by local schools and colleges. Dormitories are also ready for them. The schools have hired Sichuan cooks to prepare the spicy food they're used to.
This is the biggest group of students and teachers to move from the disaster zone. Another 500 children are on the train from Beichuan. They'll arrive in Jinan later on Friday.
China’s worst rail disaster for more than a decade occurred in the early morning of April 28, when an express passenger train travelling from Beijing to the coastal city of Qingdao in Shandong province, jumped tracks and slammed into an oncoming train. The accident claimed the lives of at least 72 people. Another 416 were injured, with many in a critical condition.
The last train crash on a similar scale took place in 1997 when 126 people died in Hunan province. Like the industrial accidents that kill tens of thousands of Chinese workers each year, the causes of the latest tragedy are rooted in the enormous stresses produced by China’s sweatshop economy and the government’s bureaucratic planning.
