Lan Gui Fang used to be one of Jinan's best bars, and it still has the potential to be just that again. This western style bar has couches that are more comfortable than average. Add to this a very friendly staff, good music, and table soccer and you can see the danger. This bar is a great place to hang out, dance, and meet other expats. It is located on Wenhua Dong Lu, down the road from the Pyramid & Jenny's Cafe.
Every Friday and Saturday night is now teachers night at Lan Gui Fang. They are offering free local beer. No catch. No cover charge. There is also a 30% discount with their "Foreign Guest Card." And, as always, Tsingtao Beer is 6 RMB.
